1. About the service

The Callous Protocol is a fitness coaching service operated by Magic Story Club Limited ("we", "us", "our"). The service provides automated coaching messages, nutritional tracking, and progress analysis delivered via WhatsApp and a web dashboard.

The service is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or change pricing with reasonable notice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

4. Not medical or professional advice

The Callous Protocol is not a medical, dietary, or personal training service. Nothing provided by the service constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a prescribed exercise or nutrition programme.

You are solely responsible for setting your own goals, choosing your methods, and deciding your commitments. The service is an accountability tool: it tracks your self-reported progress and encourages adherence to the targets and plans you define. It does not assess whether your goals, methods, or commitments are safe, appropriate, or suitable for your individual circumstances.

Before beginning or changing any diet, exercise, or wellness programme, you should consult a qualified healthcare professional — particularly if you have any medical conditions, injuries, or dietary requirements. You accept full responsibility for ensuring that any goals you set and any actions you take are appropriate for you.

5. Coaching style

The service uses an intentionally direct, profane, and confrontational coaching persona. This is a feature of the product, not a defect. By using the service, you acknowledge and accept this communication style. The language used is intended to motivate, not to harm or demean.

6. Your data

We process your personal data as described in our Privacy Notice. By accepting these terms, you acknowledge that your data will be processed by third-party LLM providers to generate coaching content.

7. Connected services

You may connect third-party services (such as Strava, WHOOP, Hevy, Cronometer, and Monitor Your Weight). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or security of these third-party services. You can disconnect any service at any time.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including but not limited to: attempting to access other users' data, interfering with the operation of the service, or using the service for any unlawful purpose.

9. Service availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but make no guarantees of uptime or availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes.

10. Assumption of risk and limitation of liability

You acknowledge that any fitness, dietary, or lifestyle changes you make while using the service are undertaken at your own risk and based on your own decisions. The service provides encouragement and accountability for goals you have set yourself — it does not prescribe, supervise, or approve any course of action.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Magic Story Club Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any injury, illness, or adverse outcome resulting from goals, methods, or commitments you have chosen. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the service (if any).

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time by contacting support@callousprotocol.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. On termination, your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Notice.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the service. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
